Are you an experienced Sports Coach looking to make a real impact in a primary school setting?Do you enjoy working in a vibrant, hands-on learning environment where no two days are the same?Are you seeking a full-time role that blends classroom support with your passion for sport?If so, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you!We're working with a highly regarded primary school in Knowsley seeking a Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time position supporting learning across the school, leading PE sessions during lunch breaks, and delivering after-school sports activities from 3 PM to 5 PM daily.Your Role Will Include:
  • Supporting teachers across the school to deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
  • Providing targeted small group support to help pupils thrive both academically and socially.
  • Leading and delivering fun, structured PE activities during lunchtime.
  • Running a variety of sports and active games as part of the after-school club (3 PM - 5 PM).
  • Fostering positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families to support whole-school well being.
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a UK school setting is essential.
  • A background in sports coaching or delivering physical activities to children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Two recent references (one must be related to safeguarding).
