Do you have a passion for sport and a talent for inspiring young learners?Are you looking for a full-time role where you can support pupils both in the classroom and through physical activity?We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded primary school in Knowsley. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines general classroom support with leading PE and after-school sports sessions.What You'll Be Doing:
  • Supporting teachers across the school to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Providing small groups and 1:1 support to help pupils achieve their potential.
  • Planning and delivering active, inclusive PE sessions during lunchtime.
  • Leading fun and structured after-school sports activities (3:00-5:00 PM).
  • Building strong relationships with students, staff, and families.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in a UK school setting (essential).
  • A background in sports coaching or physical activity delivery.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A current DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Two recent references (including one safeguarding-related).
