Starting in September 2025, this full-time position involves delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups (KS3 and KS4), ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the usual class teacher.About the SchoolThe school is nationally recognised for academic success, character education, and its outstanding pastoral care.   • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Experience working with students aged 11-16.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver pre-set lessons across multiple subjects and year groups.
  • Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.
  • Follow school policies on behaviour management and safeguarding.
  • Support student engagement and learning throughout the lesson.
  • Implement differentiation strategies as appropriate.
  • Ensure all students feel safe, valued, and included.
  • Address any disruptive behaviour effectively and fairly.
  • Work closely with Heads of Department and SLT when needed.
  • Promote a positive attitude towards learning.
  • Report concerns regarding student welfare or behaviour.
