We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker.Here at Beaufort House, we support up to 6 residents aged 35-83 who have a range of needs such as autism, mental health needs, learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. What you’ll be doing:
  • Shifts will include days, evenings, sleep ins and waking nights. Will also require weekend and bank holiday working. Full flexibility is needed.
  • You will work as part of a team, ensuring a safe and caring supportive environment is maintained, which meets the individual and group needs of the people who live with us.
  • Supporting with activities within the service and supporting to access the wider community.
  • The role will involve assisting with personal care, domestic support, preparing meals, updating our internal systems, reviewing care plans, risk assessments and monthly reports.
Who you are:
  • The role requires a motivated and creative individual.
  • Experience in a similar role is desired but not essential.
  • You will have full flexibility.
  • You will be a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • All applicants must live within a 10 mile radius of Redcar if they do not drive.
  • Drivers preferred.
