We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker.Must be a Driver with a full manual licence due to service needs.Here at Avondale Lodge in Redcar, we support residents who have a range of needs such as autism, mental health needs, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviours.   • 30 hours per week. Shifts will include days, long days, and evenings.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Full flexibility is needed, and you must be able to cover all of the following shifts as part of the rota- 7:30 am to 4 pm, 8 am to 9 pm, 9 am to 3 pm, and 4 pm to 9 pm.
  • Will involve working weekends and bank holidays. You will also be available to cover waking nights and sleep-ins when required.
  • You will work as part of a team, ensuring a safe and caring, supportive environment is maintained, which meets the individual and group needs of the people that live with us.
  • Supporting activities within the service and supporting to access the community.
  • The role will involve assisting with personal care, domestic support, preparing meals, updating our internal systems, and reviewing care plans, risk assessments, and monthly reports.
