We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Waking Night Support Worker.Here at Avondale Lodge in Redcar, we support residents who have a range of needs, such as autism, mental health needs, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviours.   • £12.21 per hour.
  • 20 hours per week.
  • Shift pattern: 9.00 pm- 8.00 am waking night. Will require availability for weekends and bank holidays.

What you’ll be doing:
  • You will work as part of a team, ensuring a safe and caring, supportive environment is maintained, which meets the individual and group needs of the people that live with us.
  • Helping to settle the people we support, being that friendly face and somebody to talk to should they wake through the night.
  • The role will involve assisting with personal care, domestic support, preparing meals, updating our internal systems, and reviewing care plans, risk assessments and monthly reports.
  • Induction and training will take place during the daytime.
