- GCSE equivalent in English
- NVQ level 3 in Care or Diagnostic and Support or equivalent experience
- Experience as clinical RDA (Band 2) OR similar role
- Successful and active team worker in multi-disciplinary area
- Some supervisory experience, including training/ mentoring
- Previous experience of radiology interventional procedures
- Previous experience of computer systems including RIS and PACS (radiology information systems)
- High level communication skills, within staff team, department and outside agencies at all levels
- High level skill understanding of customer/ patients' needs and concern for their welfare
- Supervisory skills
- Ability to plan workload
- Methods of customer care and meeting customer expectations
- Techniques for supporting radiologists/ nurses in clinical areas.
- Supervisory / training techniques
- Physically fit, able to move and handle patients/equipment.
