- Individualized Instruction: Design and deliver tailored lesson plans and educational programs that meet the specific needs of students with a variety of SEN requirements.
- IEP Development: Lead the creation, implementation, and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, therapists, and support staff.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies and resources to ensure continuous growth.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment for each student.
- Classroom Management: Foster a positive and safe classroom atmosphere where students feel valued, understood, and motivated to learn.
- A recognized Teaching qualification (QTS) and a specialization in Special Educational Needs.
- Child DBS on update service.
- Proven experience teaching students with a range of SEN.
- A deep understanding of different learning difficulties and effective intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
