In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding our development teams to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions that serve the diverse needs of the WPP ecosystem. You will champion Agile principles, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, and help remove impediments to ensure our teams operate efficiently and effectively. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the technological backbone of the world's largest advertising and marketing services company.What you'll be doing:We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Scrum Lead to drive the end-to-end delivery of value across our Customer Success tribe. This is a that goes beyond traditional Scrum facilitation; you will be the engine of execution, orchestrating the delivery of complex data and analytics products from planning through to release. You will manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and provide critical visibility to leadership, ensuring our squads (Digital Pulse, Value Measurement, Survey Sense, Customer Insights) operate as a cohesive, high-performing unit. If you are passionate about translating strategy into tangible outcomes and have a proven track record in agile delivery management, this is the role for you.You Will:Drive End-to-End Product Delivery:
  • Oversee the delivery of product increments from planning to release across all squads within the Customer Success tribe.
  • Ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of initiatives, epics, and features in alignment with the product roadmap.
  • Proactively manage dependencies between squads (e.g., ensuring Digital Pulse provides the necessary data for Value Measurement) to ensure smooth and timely progress.
Facilitate Release Planning and Management:
  • Work with Product Owners and technical leads to plan and execute coordinated product releases.
  • Improve agility in processes and tools to reduce time-to-market and enable faster, more frequent deployments to production.
  • Ensure frequent releases are used to gather customer feedback and iterate based on insights.
Facilitate Risk Management & Reporting:
  • Identify, track, and proactively mitigate risks that may impact product delivery.
  • Track key delivery metrics such as velocity, lead time, cycle time, and predictability to evaluate the tribe's performance and identify bottlenecks.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide clear visibility into product development progress for stakeholders, including Portfolio Leadership.
Coach and Improve:
  • Guide teams in adopting and refining Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) tailored to their unique contexts.
  • Ensure all Agile ceremonies are productive and value-driven, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Build a psychologically safe and collaborative environment where team members communicate openly and take ownership of their work.
Partner with Product Owners:
  • Partner closely with Product Owners to ensure delivery aligns with the product vision and business goals.
  • Collaborate on the definition and tracking of OKRs to ensure successful completion.
  • Advise on backlog prioritization to maximize business impact and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
What you'll need:
  • Experience: Strong Experience of relevant Agile experience (e.g., Scrum Lead, Agile Coach, Agile Delivery Manager, RTE) in one or more organizations, with a strong focus on delivery management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field preferred.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
  • PSM II, CSM, SAFe RTE, SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, or a certification in Agile Delivery Management.
Skills & Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of agile software delivery, the path to production, and other Agile frameworks (SAFe, XP, DevOps).
  • Extensive experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools to manage agile programs.
  • Proven experience in technology-enabled business transformation, delivering enterprise-level IT and Digital projects.
