- Sprint Management: Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Team Coaching: Guide the development team on Agile practices, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Delivery Oversight: Work closely with product owners and engineering leads to ensure timely and predictable delivery of features and enhancements.
- Impediment Removal: Actively identify and remove blockers that hinder team productivity or flow.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a communication bridge between engineering, product, and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear expectations.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track and report key delivery metrics such as sprint velocity, team throughput, and burndown charts to inform decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Drive iterative improvements to Agile processes, workflows, and tooling based on team feedback and outcomes.
- Tool Management: Administer and optimise the use of Jira, Confluence, and other Agile collaboration tools (Slack, Teams, Notion, et al).
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
- Deep understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, with practical experience applying them in fast-paced teams.
- Strong grasp of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and associated practices.
- Proven ability to coach teams and organisations on Agile adoption and maturity
- Familiarity with modern SDLCs including CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native architectures (preferably AWS), and microservices.
- Comfortable facilitating technical conversations and understanding engineering constraints.
- Experience supporting teams using Git-based workflows, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies is a plus.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM I or II)
- Outstanding communication, facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
- Empathetic and approachable leadership style with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Highly organised, proactive, and focused on outcomes.
- Experience working with distributed or remote teams is a plus.
- Exceptional documentation skills to ensure clear and thorough records.
