Our commitment to excellence in creative arts education sets us apart, providing students with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities they need to succeed in their chosen fields.About the Role​As Finance Analyst you will work closely with our team of four Finance Business Partners and play a key role in supporting the month-end process, ensuring accurate financial information is delivered on time to help drive effective decision-making across the University.​This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience across a range of financial processes in a busy and supportive environment. You'll be able to develop your skills while building a strong foundation in management accounting and financial analysis, providing a solid platform for progression in your finance career.​What You'll Do:​
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations and journals to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Carry out cost analysis, allocation reviews, and control checks.
  • Assist with the bi-weekly capital expenditure process.
  • Prepare and process monthly accruals and prepayments.
  • Support the Finance Business Partners with reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Gain exposure to a broad range of finance processes, building your technical expertise and understanding of how finance supports wider strategic and operational goals.
​What You'll Bring:​
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
  • Experience in a fast-paced business or finance function.
  • Familiarity with finance systems.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent numerical ability, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • General business or commercial awareness.
  • An interest in, or intention to begin, studying towards an accountancy qualification (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, or similar).
