- Serve as the first point of contact for enhancement requests, feature ideas, and client feedback.
- Investigate whether requested functionality already exists in the product or can be achieved through configuration.
- Identify duplicate or related suggestions and consolidate into well-structured items for review.
- Clarify and document business needs, user scenarios, and potential value/impact of each request.
- Work closely with customers, Customer Success, and Product Managers to define business problems and opportunities.
- Translate stakeholder needs into clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Create process flows, mockups, and supporting artefacts to facilitate shared understanding.
- Ensure requirements are complete, testable, and aligned with product vision.
- Partner with Product Managers and Product Operations to keep the enhancement backlog well-maintained and prioritised.
- Ensure metadata (e.g. source, urgency, domain, use case) is applied to Jira/Product board tickets.
- Help prepare items for sprint planning and PI planning sessions.
- Support the validation of delivered features against initial requirements.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Engineering, Compliance, and Product to ensure consistent and efficient triage processes.
- Participate in product and sprint rituals such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Support pre-development discovery efforts and post-launch reviews.
- Maintain up-to-date internal documentation for triaged requests and known workarounds or existing features.
- Contribute to product knowledge bases and training materials used by internal teams.
- Help institutionalise the enhancement triage process and playbooks for scalable operations.
- Previous demonstrable of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a B2B SaaS, FinTech, or RegTech environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deconstruct ambiguous client requests
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
- Comfortable writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to liaise confidently with stakeholders at all levels
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and product delivery processes
