An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join the Health Records Team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.You will be responsible for providing a full portering service within the Health Records Department in addition to some clerical work. The main focus of the role will be to undertake safe and confidential delivery and retrieval of Health Records around the Trust on a daily basis, as well as preparation of clinic notes for outpatient appointments. Training in other areas of the department will be provided to support the whole Health Records serviceComputer literacy and experience in the accurate inputting of data is an essential requirement for this post as are organisational skills . Methodical method of working and a keen eye for detail is crucial to this role.Being flexible and adaptable to change is crucial to this particular role.Training on in-house information systems however, will be provided.Main duties of the jobMain Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe main focus of this role is to transport large volumes of patient records to various outpatient areas, wards and departments. as well as supporting the Clinic Prep team in the preparation of case notes for outpatient clinics and admissions.About usWe hold a unique position in the Stockport community as the provider of healthcare and we are one of its largest employers.We believe that the best organisations are those that reflect the communities they serve.
