Evolve Section Manager- Health RecordsAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join the management team in the busy Health Records Department as a Health Records Section Manager at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.Working as part of the Health Records Management Team to assist with the management of the Health Records Services throughout the Stockport NHS Foundation Trust and to provide continual support and training to Health Records staff in order to maintain an effective service to all users.The post-holder will work closely with the Directorate Support Manager and Health Records Managers in developing Health Records systems and procedures to meet the changing demands upon the service.The ability to work on your own initiative to support the management and staff of the Health Records Team and present a quality service to all users is essential, you will also be required to work closely with the other members of the management team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.People skills and the ability to support and motivate your team are crucial to this role, Training on in-house information systems however, will be provided.You will be expected to work on call for at least one Bank Holiday session per year on a rota basis.Main duties of the jobHealth Records Section ManagerThe above post is available in this extremely busy department at Stepping Hill Hospital. The successful applicant will belong to an important integrated Health Records service provided 365 days of the year and will be based in the Health Records Department.Staff management would be advantageous , but more important will be people and organisational skills.This is a full time post to support the Evolve Scanning Team. You will be a member of a team who provide a valuable essential service to the Trust.You will also be responsible for undertaking staff appraisals and ensuring Trust and departmental policies and procedures are implemented and complied with.Delivering vital information to staff by holding regular departmental meetings, this maybe to a large group of staff, conducting support meetings, appraisals and one to one meetings .About usWe hold a unique position in the Stockport community as the provider of healthcare and we are one of its largest employers.We believe that the best organisations are those that reflect the communities they serve.
