As a Sports Coach, you will deliver engaging and inclusive physical education sessions across a range of sports. This role may involve working with both primary and secondary-aged pupils, adapting your coaching to meet a variety of needs and abilities.Responsibilities as a Sports Coach:
- Deliver high-quality PE and sports sessions in line with school programmes.
- Plan and adapt activities to cater for varying skill levels and abilities.
- Promote health, fitness, and wellbeing through active participation.
- Support pupils in developing teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
- Assist with extra-curricular sports clubs and school events.
- Experience coaching or teaching sports, ideally with young people in an educational setting.
- Relevant coaching qualifications or a strong sporting background.
- Excellent communication and motivational skills.
- A proactive, energetic, and supportive approach to working with pupils.
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
- A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps in the last 10 years.
