We’re hiring a Private PA with range. Someone who knows a family isn’t a calendar; it’s three young lives moving in concert while their parents run businesses. Most Private PA ads are vague because every family is different. This one is even more so.Here’s the picture.Three school-aged children. Three clashing timetables. Three sets of dreams, activities, and homework deadlines. Two UHNW entrepreneur parents who expect the home to run as smoothly as the office. You won’t teach Pythagoras; the Governess and tutors have that. You will make sure the child learning Pythagoras gets to the lesson, the sibling reaches football, and the third finishes piano, all in time for dinner. What you’ll do (but please note this is not exhaustive)
  • Orchestrate school dates, parents’ evenings, sports days, and recitals.
  • Manage after-school activities, track assignments, and liaise with tutors.
  • Organise educational trips and keep paperwork, report cards, and permissions tidy.
  • Manage household logistics, including scheduling tutors and housekeepers, booking services, and handling interactions with insurers or auction houses as needed.
  • Work alongside the Business (Executive) Assistant, splitting time between office (Central London) and home (West London), joining projects that span business and private life.
  • Keep the day calm, efficient, and human.
What you’ve done
  • Managed this level of complexity for a UHNW family.
  • Juggled multiple children’s schedules where “normal” does not apply.
  • Anticipate clashes before they happen and have quiet plans B and C in place.
  • Communicated crisply with parents, schools, and specialists, without drama.
  • Used good judgment, absolute discretion, and sensible boundaries.
Why this roleThis isn’t logistics for its own sake. These small humans are the family’s most important project. Missed piano lessons and forgotten PE kits matter as much as board meetings because they shape childhood.Your work creates space for parents to be present when it counts. The familyThey’re grounded. They travel during school holidays. They balance demanding work with private life and keep the family’s well-being at the centre. They’re fair, reasonable, and approachable, which makes the work satisfying. And could there be a better time to be recruiting a role like this, just as the new School Year starts?
