Working Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (with potential to extend)
Salary: Dependent on experienceAn inclusive and friendly primary school in the NN3 area is seeking a caring, reliable, and experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional learning needs, starting 2nd September 2025.Role Overview:You will be working on a 1:1 basis, providing targeted support for a child within the classroom to help them access learning, build confidence, and make progress in line with their individual learning plan.Key Responsibilities:Delivering individualised support in line with the class teacher’s guidanceAdapting classroom activities to meet the pupil’s needsSupporting learning, social development, and emotional regulationLiaising with the class teacher, SENDCo, and parents/carersContributing to observations, tracking progress, and attending relevant meetingsIdeal Candidate Will Have:Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a 1:1 capacityGood understanding of the primary curriculumStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA patient, positive and flexible approachA genuine passion for supporting children with additional needsA relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) – desirable but not essentialWhat We Offer:A welcoming and supportive school environmentA dedicated and collaborative teamAccess to ongoing CPD and training opportunitiesThe chance to make a meaningful difference in a child’s school experienceHow to Apply:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
