Active Neuro isn't just growing-we're redefining what's possible in neurorehabilitation.Apply now and be part of this groundbreaking journey.The role:As our Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will: * Provide specialist assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders in individuals with acquired brain injury and complex neurological conditions
  • Devise and implement evidence-based therapy programmes, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes
  • Maintain high standards of clinical care, aligned with national best practice guidelines and professional standards
  • Act as a Key Worker, contributing to cohesive goal-setting, coordinated therapy planning, and smooth discharge processes
  • Supervise and support junior team members, including therapy assistants and students, contributing to their development and clinical education
  • Actively participate in internal training programmes, including staff induction, mandatory training, and multidisciplinary in-service sessions
  • Adhere to all relevant professional codes of practice, regulatory standards, and organisational policies to ensure safe and ethical practice
  • Contribute to service audits, clinical evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and outcomes
  • Safeguard individuals, promoting their safety, wellbeing, and human rights at all times
About you:For this role, we're looking for someone with the following:
  • HCPC registration
  • Training and competence in dysphagia management
  • Previous experience of working in a neurorehabilitation setting
  • Confidence in assessment, goal-setting, and delivering evidence-based interventions
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to delivering person-centred, outcome-driven care
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
