As part of the GEA network, we provide advanced milking systems, herd management tools, and service excellence that help dairy producers operate more efficiently, sustainably, and profitably.We're now expanding our technical team and looking for a forward-thinking Dairy Robotics Technician who is passionate about agricultural innovation and on-farm automation.Your RoleAs a Dairy Robotics Technician at DairyFlow, you’ll play a key role in installing, supporting, and optimising GEA’s industry-leading robotic milking and feeding technologies. You’ll work directly with farmers to ensure our solutions deliver top performance, animal welfare, and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, commission, and service GEA robotic milking systems (e.g., DairyRobot R9500) and all associated robotic barn equipmentProvide technical support and diagnostics for electromechanical and software issues on-farmTrain farm personnel on daily operation, maintenance, and data analysis toolsOptimise system settings based on herd behaviour, performance data, and customer goalsCollaborate with DairyFlow and GEA teams to ensure product feedback, upgrades, and continuous improvementMaintain detailed records and adhere to health and safety protocolsParticipate in on-call rota for emergency breakdown support (shared within team)Your Profile / QualificationsWhat We’re Looking ForExperience with dairy automationStrong skills in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and software systemsKnowledge of dairy farm operations and animal welfare best practicesStrong communication and customer service mindsetWillingness to travel and work flexible hours when neededA team player with a solution-focused attitudeFull UK driving licence (or equivalent)What We OfferCompetitive salary and company vehicleHands-on training with GEA’s cutting-edge technologiesOpportunities for professional development and certificationSupportive and experienced team environmentThe chance to make a real difference in modern dairy farmingDairyFlow is an equal opportunity employer.
