- Creates AMAZEING customer/end user centric journeys and processes
- You are building up a picture of your customers/end users - who they are, what they enjoy, what they need and what makes them FANS (focus groups, segmentation analysis…)
- You are Data, Data, Data driven! With a passion for asking what are we building and why is it important?
- You will be creating the Vision and Objectives for the product and communicating this to your feature team
- Define, prioritise and sequence the backlog of user stories, working with cross-functional feature teams to bring new propositions and features to life
- Able to breakdown deliverables into a Minimal Viable Product (MVP), working with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate these to engineering for delivery
- You understand the necessity of reducing tech debt alongside delivering commercial goals
- Ensures there is constant communication and transparency with how the product is evolving and performing
- Is able to build up the roadmap for their product for the short and medium terms (6-12 month and 1-2 years)
- Competent in holding ideation sessions to discuss ideas and ways to solve a problem - you set the What? and Why?
- Uses KPIs as a measure of success and progress for changes, and understands the need and power of benefit realisation
- Presents at demo sessions and can communicate proof of concepts to senior stakeholders
- Understands how the product works from a medium to high level technical perspective
- Ensures operational blueprints, workflows and documentation are updated and available on Confluence
- Works in agile methodologies and supports the teams to deliver by providing context, priority order and quick clarifications where queries arise
- Presents regular competitor research and is aware of market trends in the industry
- Works closely with the UXUI teams and CX where appropriate, and brings these functions into the ideation process
- You are driven by data and insights…you are constantly looking to build in data capture throughout your product, alongside real time monitoring and alerting .
- Is able to create a roadmap for their feature team- looking at the problem and opportunities that align with the Bank's strategy - this is derived from looking at customer pain points, data and competitor analysis
- This roadmap has clear with KPIs and benefit realisation for the changes implemented - through processes like AB testing and prototyping…
- Can put forward features through an ideation process into the hands of FANS
- Able to interrogate customer data and provide insights - can communicate these to stakeholders on a regular basis, uniting with commercial goals
- Looks to market and competitors for research, and understands the opportunities for improvement of their product
- Able to deliver small changes, continuous improvements and projects using agile methodologies with success and a high regard for quality led releases with the Engineering team
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage senior stakeholder expectations about delivery and timelines
- Has exceptional attention to detail and will ensure the roadmap is updated correctly and presentations will be of the highest standard
- Works in a clear and transparent way to prioritise items in the frameworks provided
- Knowledge of basic technology including APIs, UI, Logging, Alerting and load testing
- You know how to gather requirements to create a User story, and can work with the Business Analysts to sign off on requirements
- Knowledge of how to breakdown a project/initiatives into a series of deliverables (MVP)
