Supply Teaching Assistant

• Provide support to the class teacher throughout the school day, monitor and record pupil’s progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
• Work with children on a small group and 1:1 basis, delivering high quality lessons and interventions to support a strong understanding of learning.
• Uphold the school ethos and implementing relevant policies including behaviour and safeguarding.
• Help create an inclusive learning environment where children of all needs and abilities can reach their full potential.

• Has experience working with children (personal or professional).
• Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistant Certificate). The schools have stated this is desirable but not essential.
• Has a understanding of the primary curriculum, across different Key Stages.
• Is proactive, adaptable and has high expectations with excellent communication skills.
• Works effectively as part of a team and builds positive relationships with children and staff.
• A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
