Job descriptionSupply SEN TA – Trafford:Prospero Teaching are currently seeking teaching assistants, with experience supporting SEN and SEMH to work with our schools on a day to day, supply basis. This role is part-time and is tailored around your availability.The Role:
  • Supporting pupils with SEN and complex needs, both 1-1 and in small groups
  • Following school behaviour policies and procedures
  • Working closely with teaching staff and SEN specialists to ensure that the needs of all students are met
Position Details:
  • Location: Trafford
  • Position: Supply TA
  • Type of Work: Temporary, Day to Day Cover
  • Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £103.95 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: Sept 2025
  • End date: Ongoing, supply
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience supporting SEN/Complex needs in a school or care setting
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
