Salary: Up to £46,000.00 per year FTE (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)in Great Missenden is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.We have an opportunity for a Specialist Nurse to join their team of staff in the Oncology department.This is a Part time role for 20 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.Duties of this role include:
  • Deliver safe, high-quality, evidence-based care within your area of specialism, acting as a clinical expert and role model.
  • Support assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of patients with complex or long-term conditions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care pathways and protocols based on national guidelines and best practice.
  • Provide education, support, and counselling to patients and families, empowering them to understand and manage their health conditions.
  • Act as a key contact for patients, ensuring consistent, coordinated care throughout their treatment journey.
  • Signpost to additional services and resources to support holistic care.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
  • Registered Nurse (Adult, Child, or Mental Health, depending on specialty) with valid NMC registration.
  • Significant post-registration experience in the relevant specialty area.
  • Demonstrable specialist knowledge and advanced clinical skills within a defined field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
