- Provision of accurate and insightful analysis on how our shows, channels and services are performing among our viewers and in a competitive context.
- Communicating insight to stakeholders from across ITV Commercial.
- Promoting and embedding data experimentation and innovation within the ITV Insight Group and ITV Commercial to drive revenue for the business.
- Analysing complex datasets (Barb, ITVX Server Data, historic campaign effectiveness results databases etc.) to uncover new strategic insights and commercial opportunities
- Building relationships with stakeholders and helping embed new methodologies and ways of working in decision making processes
- Building innovative analytical solutions to automate business critical regular reporting processes (monthly reports, campaign delivery tracking etc.)
- As part of a cross-functional team, developing and embedding dashboarding solutions for business stakeholders, enabling a culture of self-service analytics.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts across a range of disciplines, including Insight Managers, Data Scientists, Analysts and Data stakeholders to drive projects forward.
- At least 2 years experience (or similar exposure) within a data analytics role, with the ability to turn complex data into meaningful insights
- Experience using SQL to analyse large datasets on Data lakes or EDW
- Ability to create insightful analysis and dashboards
- A working understanding of how Television is measured for both Linear and Streaming
- Comfortable presenting analysis across a range of formats (spreadsheets, slide decks, reports, dashboards and email).
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Looker Studio
- Understanding of analytical techniques and statistical concepts
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and finding ways to deliver on those.
- Good knowledge of ITV's programmes, its channels, and its place in the wider media landscape
- Experience working with cloud-based platforms (preferably GCP)
- An understanding of Barb and the ability to run, analyse and provide programme viewing and historic advertising campaign delivery figures
- Keen problem solver who can demonstrate critical thinking, coupled with strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and cross-functional environment
- Excellent attention to detail and proactive in preventing errors
- A passionate viewer of television and an interest in the wider media landscape
