Forward Role are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Data Insight Analyst for a well-establish client in the retail sector. As a Data Insight Analyst, you will transform data into stories that influence how we think, plan, and grow.The role sits at the heart of the decision-making process. You’ll translate complex information into clear, actionable insights that guide everything from commercial strategy to how they improve the customer journey. Partnering with teams across Marketing, Digital, and wider commercial functions, you’ll help uncover opportunities and sharpen our performance.Role & Responsibilities:
  • Producing meaningful analysis that informs strategy and supports day-to-day decision making
  • Streamlining existing reporting processes to make them faster and more effective
  • Developing new ways of looking at customer data to highlight patterns, opportunities, and risks
  • Creating regular performance reports that spotlight key metrics and behaviours
  • Building trusted relationships with colleagues across multiple teams, acting as a go-to advisor for data-led thinking
Skills & Experience:
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent numerical skills and a keen eye for accuracy
  • Advanced Excel abilities, confident in manipulating and presenting data
  • Knowledge of (or willingness to develop skills in) tools such as SQL
  • Clear and concise communicator, able to explain complex findings in a straightforward way
  • Organised and proactive, comfortable handling multiple projects at once
  • A collaborative approach, with a genuine interest in working closely with different teams
