- Play a lead role in developing capability across the analytics team, either technical proficiency or expertise in a key domain in the business.
- Support the delivery of the Analytics strategy within the team, plus also in the delivery to key business areas, in particular the Marketing, Business Development and Client Experience teams.
- Translate Marketing, Business Development and Client Experience business challenges into clear data and analytics requirements and vice versa translating analytics outputs into business recommendation and action.
- Apply extensive experience to identify ways to visualize and present information in a user-friendly manner, and develop the capability of other analytics team members.
- Manage own workloads, and those of other analytics team members, to deliver projects at pace and to a high quality.
- Lead development of analytics solutions that solve challenges highlighted by the business.
- Promote and encourage a Data-driven culture, artfully choosing which measure we think the business should focus on, whilst providing self-service solutions.
- Collaborates and leads colleagues from across the business, ranging from simple analytical requests to building and maintaining complex business processes via Power Apps
- Develop an understanding of the business, its services and how the business works to identify opportunities for improvement based upon data and analytics, and to ensure that actions and recommendations from analytics and insight provides can be identified.
- Very strong domain knowledge within the business and successfully deal with all levels of internal stakeholders or role modelling capability (at Market level) in technical disciplines
- Extensive Power BI, or other data visualisation tools, experience with a firm understanding of visualisation best practice
- Significant experience of working with SQL and experience of working with relational databases
- Experience of digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics
- Microsoft Office skills with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software
- Significant experience of using analytical skills to driving insight and action in a commercial, operational or financial setting
- Experience of working within a Professional services firm
- Some experience of Python or R programming languages
- Experience of working with CRM tools in a marketing and business development environment and application of data and analytics in CRM
- Knowledge of Data science techniques and/or AI modelling
- Knowledge of Databricks for development of analytics
- Experience with Azure cloud storage, Business Intelligence tools and DevOps principles
- Good understanding of Data Governance and Data Security principles
