- You'll support the promotion of our space communication capabilities, working with the Head of Service Management and the Head of Integration to ensure we maintain the integrity of our service delivery whilst transforming our service for the future.
- Accountable for transition into service of all programmes and projects that must be run into the service teams from Skynet, across Service Delivery and Technical Infrastructure.
- Responsible for leadership of our transition service delivery teams, building a strong delivery ethos with the right collaborative behaviours and positive culture. As time and scope grow, managing and right-sizing the team with appropriate skill sets will be required.
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate governance and process is in place across the Service Delivery teams, including delegation of technical authority and decision making, and that it complies with the Mission Systems processes.
- Participation in informal and formal qualification activities including the preparation of Integration, Test and Acceptance Test Plans and Procedures, Acceptance Test Reports and Verification Cross Reference Matrices as part of the Integration, Verification, Validation, and Qualification phase of Projects
- Proactively identify new solutions and technologies to improve our capability offering.
- Demonstrable experience of leading high performing teams with exceptional people skills.
- Experience in Technical delivery, service delivery and business management.
- Experience in Strategic Communications, Space based communications or telecommunications.
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant Business or Engineering discipline or equivalent relevant professional experience.
