- You'll support the promotion of our space communication capabilities, working with the Head of Service Management, Head of Service Transition, Director of Engineering, Director of Future Solutions, and the Head of Delivery to ensure we maintain the integrity of our service delivery whilst transforming our service for the future alongside the Authority's major programmes of work.
- Accountable for tracking the dependencies and risks as well as tracking the budgets of the service teams, this role needs to work closely with the Authority, Space, Service, and Change to ensure that the deliverables are as seamless as possible and we are demonstrably compliant and adhere to the contract schedules.
- Owner of the reporting packs with the customer (i.e. SCMF, ISMF).
- Budget tracking across the service portfolio, working to strengthen WBS reporting and spend, and forecasting current/future budgets with support from the Director of Finance's team.
- Plan, lead, facilitate and undertake project assurance to give confidence to stakeholders that portfolios, programmes and projects will achieve their scope, time, cost, quality objectives, and realise their benefits
- Collate and present test evidence captured during test activities to enable customer acceptance.
- Participation in Project design review milestones as part of the Project development and test processes
- Be an advocate for assurance as an enabler for project management good practice aiming to ensure that it remains central to the culture of the organisation
- Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with the delivery management community, supporting the development of delivery management capability through knowledge sharing, coaching and mentoring within the wider delivery community.
- Demonstrable experience of leading high performing teams with exceptional people skills.
- Experience in Technical delivery, service delivery and business management.
- Experience in Strategic Communications, Space based communications or telecommunications.
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant Business or Engineering discipline or equivalent relevant professional experience.
