🏢 Business Unit: WPS - Planned MaintenanceWe're excited to offer an opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join our Wates team within the WPS Planned Maintenance division. This role will support a portfolio of contracts across Greater London, ensuring a consistent and strategic approach to commercial management, tender reviews, legal terms and conditions, and project mobilisation.You'll be the golden thread 🧵 between commercial strategy and project delivery-maximising opportunities and mitigating risks from day one.🧾 Key Responsibilities
  • 💰 Budget ownership and commercial management for assigned contracts
  • 🤝 Act as the commercial lead in monthly review meetings with the Operations Manager
  • 👥 Line management of Assistant / Quantity Surveyors
  • 📊 Oversee the Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) process and ensure timely sign-off by the RCM
  • 🧠 Support senior management in tender adjudication
  • 🛒 Liaise with the buying team to ensure timely procurement of materials
👤 What We're Looking ForWe're after a proactive and experienced Commercial Manager with a background in the maintenance sector.
