This role provides the opportunity to deliver engaging sessions, promote teamwork, and encourage a healthy, active lifestyle for pupils of all abilities.Responsibilities as a Sports Coach:
- Plan and deliver sports sessions that are fun, inclusive, and engaging.
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive attitudes toward physical activity.
- Support pupils in developing confidence, resilience, and essential skills through sport.
- Motivate pupils to participate and enjoy physical activities in a safe and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate physical activities into the wider school curriculum.
- Previous experience delivering sports coaching in schools, clubs, or community settings is desirable.
- Strong communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, confident, and able to inspire young people.
- Ability to adapt activities to suit different age groups and abilities.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
