  • Receive and make telephone calls as required. Divert calls and take messages, ensuring accuracy of detail and prompt appropriate delivery.
  • Ensuring appropriate appointment booking when requested by patients, GPs or nurses.
  • Completing day-to-day administration tasks such as handling inbound documents, registering new patients, data entry, prescription requests and recall of patients.
  • Promotion and compliance with safeguarding of all of our service users
  • Using your own judgement and communication skills to ensure that patients with no prior appointment but who need urgent consultation are seen in a logical and non-disruptive manner.
