We are on an exciting growth journey to become the UK’s most loved retirement expert.PurposeThe DB Actuarial Analyst will undertake pricing and actuarial input required to support delivery of DB Data True Ups and other tasks relating to in-force business.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Head of True up, DB Actuary and DB Senior Actuarial Analyst in accurate and timely delivery of data true ups.Prepare internal sign off documentation produced for each quotation, ensuring results are presented in a clear manner, outlining all material areas of judgement and limitations.Prepare drafts of client deliverables / data true up letters to be issued externally.Carry out all necessary BAU work for in force business which includes scheme valuations.Prepare scheme valuations and ensure they are delivered in a timely and accurate manner.Prepare individual member calculations and ensure they are delivered in a timely and accurate manner.Develop a deep knowledge of all systems and tools used by the True up team.Proactively help to drive projects forward to ensure they are progressed in line with expected timescales.Proactively work to promote a culture of collaboration and engagement within the True up team.We seek individuals enthusiastic about leveraging new technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.Key SkillsActuarial or Maths related degree is desirable, and / or working towards FIA qualification with some relevant experience.Desire for an Actuarial career.Understanding of actuarial principles and techniques.Familiarity with DB pension scheme benefits, and regulation is desirable.Familiarity with life insurance principles and regulation is desirable.Good IT skills, particularly ExcelStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Company BenefitsA Competitive Salary, Pension Scheme and Life AssuranceAlong with 25 Days Annual Leave plus an Additional Day on us for your BirthdayPrivate Medical Cover and Income Protection, just in caseA generous and highly achievable bonus scheme – paid annually based on individual and company performance against targetsOpportunity to progress within your career both in-role and within the companyFREE access to the Headspace App, a 24/7 Employee Assistance Helpline and Trained Physical & Mental Health First Aiders (On-Site)A variety of Employee Funded Benefits available to you via our Online Benefits PortalPlus, several additional purchase options available for you and your loved onesWhy Just?At Just you’ll have the opportunity to develop your career, whilst making a difference to the lives of those around you.
