- Collaborate with Senior Business Development executives on identifying potential clients
- High levels of outbound prospecting to drive growth for GLG
- Utilizing content marketing and materials to develop leads
- Coordinating pitch meetings, architecting proposals, designing account strategies
- Leveraging GLG's systems and tools to identify, diagnose, and present consultative solutions to potential GLG customers.
- Close deals with executive clients.
- Identify, meet with, and close deals with executive clients
- Articulate the value of our expert network, professional services, and client -facing software systems to prospects in order to win business
- Develop a business plan and sales strategy for assigned territories that executes against a high - revenue growth imperative and increased profitability
- Plan for and execute against a revenue target for a portfolio of prospects
- Engage key constituents at clients as a thought partner, with a heavy focus on senior -level decision makers, in order to understand these clients' work, differentiate the company's brand, and tailor value proposition to these critical influencers
- Coordinate closely with colleagues across company teams, particularly with stakeholders on client servicing teams
- Performance to closed deals and revenue target
- Personal performance to target in subscription selling
- Effectiveness of senior-level client engagement
- Adoption by clients of new products and systems
- 5+ years proven work experience in a Hunter or Business Development role
- A clear track record of excellence in their career to date
- Demonstrated success selling subscription based services, ideally financial subscriptions.
- Demonstrated success selling information services and solutions to clients or experience selling consulting services
- Strong experience / network within the Consulting / Professional Services Sector is preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- A demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated B2B relationships
- Willingness to travel and work among a global team of professionals
- Strong leadership skills
- A strong passion for persuasion - especially around complicated and intellectually challenging issues
- Understanding of people and clear communication skills
