This is a brilliant opportunity to work in a nurturing and supportive environment, helping children and young people with a range of complex needs, including autism, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties, and learning disabilities.About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial part in the classroom, working with teachers and other professionals to support pupils' learning, wellbeing, and personal development. You'll help create a safe, accepting, and positive space where every child can grow and succeed. If you are interested in this role, APPLY NOWKey Responsibilities:
  • Support students one-to-one and in small groups
  • Assist with lesson preparation and setting up the classroom
  • Encourage and support pupils' communication, independence, and social skills
  • Monitor and track progress, providing feedback to the class teacher
  • Work collaboratively with the school team and external agencies
  • Supervise students during break and lunch times as required
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote pupil welfare at all times
What We're Looking For:
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Child DBS on the update service
  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEN setting
  • A calm and caring manner
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • A willingness to learn and undergo additional training
  • A genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young people
