This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a nurturing environment, supporting children and young people with a range of complex needs, including autism, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties, and learning disabilities.About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be a key figure in the classroom, working alongside teachers and other professionals to support pupils' learning, wellbeing, and personal development. You'll help create a safe, inclusive, and positive space where every child can flourish and succeed. If you are interested in this role, APPLY NOWKey Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils on a one-on-one basis and in small groups
  • Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
  • Encourage and support pupils' communication, independence, and social skills
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to the class teacher
  • Work collaboratively with the wider school team and external agencies
  • Supervise pupils during break and lunch times as needed
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote pupil welfare at all times
What We're Looking For:
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Child DBS on the update service
  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEN setting
  • A calm, and caring approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A willingness to learn and undertake training
  • A genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young people
