This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a supportive and caring environment, helping children and young people with a range of complex needs, including autism, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties, and learning disabilities.About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an essential part in the classroom, working with teachers and other professionals to support pupils' learning, wellbeing, and personal development.   • Assist pupils on a one-on-one basis and in small groups
  • Help with the preparation of lessons and classroom organisation
  • Support and encourage pupils' communication abilities, independence, and social skills
  • Keep track of student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher
  • Work in partnership with the broader school team and external organisations
  • Provide supervision for pupils during their break and lunch times as necessary
  • Maintain safeguarding and promote the welfare of all pupils
What We're Looking For:
  • The legal right to work within the UK
  • A Child DBS on the update service
  • Prior experience working with children or young people, preferably in an SEN environment
  • A calm and compassionate disposition
  • Outstanding communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • A willingness to learn and undergo additional training
