As a Sports Coach, this role involves using your sporting knowledge and coaching skills to engage pupils, promote healthy lifestyles, and support them in developing essential teamwork and resilience skills.Responsibilities as a Sports Coach:
- Deliver engaging sports and physical education sessions tailored to pupils’ abilities.
- Motivate and encourage students to participate in a range of physical activities.
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development through sport.
- Assist in managing behaviour during lessons and extracurricular activities.
- Work closely with teaching staff to support learning and personal development.
- Previous experience as a Sports Coach, PE Assistant, or in a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
- A recognised coaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained.
