- A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Qualified to minimum Level 2 standard in English and Maths
- Good knowledge of IT packages
- A relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent relevant to the role
- Experience of working within an FE provision
- Proven experience in managing personal development programmes within an educational setting
- Experience in successfully leading and managing teams.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programmes
- Experience in coordinating student enrichment activities and student voice initiatives
- Successful experience of working with young people to motivate and inspire them
- Experience in managing Learning Resource Centres
- Experience in working with e-learning platforms and online resource development
- In depth awareness and understanding of current trends and priorities in post-16 education and training.
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments
- Skilled in data analysis and impact assessment
- Proficiency in using IT and eLearning tools
- Ability to assess and respond to student needs effectively
