
Senior Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist (Rotational) - Acute Team

- HCPC Registration
- Relevant post graduate courses/training
- Extensive broad based post-graduate experience including cardiorespiratory care
- Paediatric experience in a variety of settings
- Experience of supervising staff/students
- A good level of ability to clinically reason through complex patients
- Ability to apply policy
- Evidence of participation in audit/research projects
- Evidence of Multidisciplinary team working
- Evidence of good communication skills
- Knowledge of current professional issues and government policies
- Ability to prioritise a caseload
- Ability to plan and participate in MDT working
- Ability to plan/schedule for rotational band 6/band 5/Assistant/Student
- Willingness to participate in the out of hours rotas
- Able to demonstrate basic computer skills
- Record of continuing professional development
- Membership of specialist interest group e.g. APCP, ACPRC
- Demonstrates desire to keep clinically updated and deepen interest in specialty
- Able to demonstrate the Trust values
- Able to demonstrate good communication skills
- Able to effectively organise own caseload
- Flexible and adaptable
- Demonstrates professionalism and a positive attitude
- Demonstrate an understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion within this role
- Be punctual and flexible across hours of work when required
- Ability to manually handle patients and equipment
