- * Diploma / degree in Physiotherapy.
- * Registered with Healthcare Professions Council (HCPC).
- * A levels or equivalent qualification.
- * Good standard of general education including GCSE Maths and English grade C and above.
- * Evidence of CPD including recent post graduate training relevant to clinical speciality.
- * Member of specialist interest group.
- * Attendance at Clinical Educators course.
- * Demonstrates clinical experience enabling the post holder to manage a caseload of patients within this speciality / within the NHS with experience of elderly and frail elderly, respiratory, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.
- * Experience of working on a physiotherapy on-call service.
- * Experience of working with student physiotherapists and assistants.
- * An ability to analyse clinical and nonclinical complex facts and situations, which require the interpretation and comparison of a range of options.
- * An ability to plan, organise, formulate and adjust complex plans.
- * An ability to supervise and delegate work to physiotherapists, assistants and students.
- * It is desirable that the candidate will have had some experience within speciality area.
