- Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to payroll.
- Maintain and update payroll systems to reflect changes in employee data.
- Handle queries from employees regarding payroll and deductions.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to reconcile payroll accounts.
- Prepare payroll reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Support audits by providing required payroll documentation and reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.
- Proven experience in payroll management within the industrial or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant software.
- Familiarity with UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with teams across the organisation.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving payroll issues.
