An exciting opportunity is available in the West Midlands for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon seeking a new role with flexible working hours.
  • Salary up to £70,000 (DOE)
  • Full-time position
  • 1 in 4 weekends (Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 10am-4pm)
  • No out-of-hours or sole charge
  • Flexible rota to promote work-life balance
This well-established and busy small animal practice is supported by a long-standing team known for their friendly atmosphere and strong team spirit.The current team includes 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, a Student Veterinary Nurse, a Veterinary Care Assistant, 7 Receptionists, and a Practice Manager. Under experienced leadership, the team has grown significantly over the years, creating a collaborative and supportive environment dedicated to providing excellent pet healthcare.Conveniently located with easy access to major transport links including the M6 and M69, the practice benefits from a varied caseload thanks to its position within a busy retail setting in a popular residential area. This provides a steady flow of diverse and interesting medical and surgical cases.The purpose-built, air-conditioned surgery is bright and spacious, equipped to industry-leading standards with digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory equipment, enabling the team to deliver high-quality clinical care.The role would suit a lead or experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is confident in routine surgical and medical procedures. Special interests are welcomed and supported, and while experience with exotics is desirable, it is not essential. The practice handles a wide variety of clinical cases and offers opportunities for professional development in specialised areas.Benefits include:
