
Payroll Specialist

- Running payroll from start to finish on a weekly and monthly basis
- Maintaining and updating payroll records including new starters, leavers, and changes in pay or benefits
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., tax, pension, national insurance).
- Spotting and sorting any payroll hiccups before they become a problem.
- Teaming up with our HR and Finance teams to keep everything aligned.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to internal stakeholders and external agencies
- Answering questions from our team about pay, benefits, and deductions.
- Supporting with audits and keeping everything confidential and secure.
- Staying sharp on payroll legislation and best practices.
- Supporting our Payroll Administrator and wider Payroll team
- 5+ year's payroll experience with HRIS or ERP systems experience.
- Familiar with relevant payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
- Able to communicate clearly and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficient in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Sage, Workday) and Excel.
- You'll be organised, detail-focused, and manage your time effectively.
