They're on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join their tight-knit team and play a key role in supporting both internal operations and external clients.The Opportunity:
This is a commercially focused, hands-on finance role within a small but growing business. Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll take full ownership of day-to-day financial operations - from producing monthly management reports and balance sheet reconciliations, to overseeing VAT returns and supervising one Accounts Assistant.With a varied customer portfolio and plenty of scope for input into systems and process improvements, this is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys end-to-end finance and wants to make a real impact.Key Responsibilities:Manage one Accounts Assistant (purchase ledger, receipts, payments)Prepare monthly management accounts with commentary (accruals/prepayments etc.)Balance sheet and bank reconciliationsVAT returns (in-house and client-side)Payment runs and financial reporting for multiple stakeholdersSupport budgeting and variance analysisContribute to ad-hoc projects and team cover as neededWhat We're Looking For:Several years' experience in a finance management roleStrong understanding of accounting procedures and core business principlesConfident producing reports, reconciling accounts, and working to deadlinesStrong Excel skills (intermediate level)Experience with AP, AR and supervising team memberDetail-focused, organised, and a great communicatorWhat's In It For You?£50,000 salary25 days holiday + bank holidaysCompany pensionPrivate medical scheme (you & your family)Free on-site parkingTo apply for the role please contact Lucy on 0777 614 6634 or click on apply.
