- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Excellent knowledge of the PE curriculum and a wide range of sports.
- Strong classroom management and a positive approach to discipline.
- Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality PE lessons to all key stages.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Organise and lead a variety of extra-curricular sports clubs and teams.
- Act as a role model and promote a positive and healthy lifestyle.
- Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum.
- Attend departmental meetings and school-wide training sessions.
- Foster a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Organise and participate in school sports events and competitions.
- Maintain a high standard of professional conduct and appearance.
