The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and challenging PE lessons to students across all key stages.   • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Skills:
  • Excellent knowledge of the PE curriculum and a wide range of sports.
  • Strong classroom management and a positive approach to discipline.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality PE lessons to all key stages.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Organise and lead a variety of extra-curricular sports clubs and teams.
  • Act as a role model and promote a positive and healthy lifestyle.
  • Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum.
  • Attend departmental meetings and school-wide training sessions.
  • Foster a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Organise and participate in school sports events and competitions.
  • Maintain a high standard of professional conduct and appearance.
