Blackwood Health Centre is looking for a part-time GP Surgery Receptionist to work 18 hours per week.As a GP Surgery Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. You will be responsible for providing a professional, efficient, and courteous reception service, both in person and over the phone, while ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.Main duties of the job
  • Greet and assist patients and visitors in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Answer and manage incoming calls, directing them appropriately.
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments using our electronic booking system which is Emis
  • Handle patient enquiries and provide information about services.
  • Process patient registrations and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure the waiting area is welcoming and tidy.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Coordinate with medical staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
