- Good general education, together with a high level of numeracy and written and spoken English
- Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Experience working with VCSE/voluntary sector organisations
- Ability to work autonomously and without supervision, using own initiative, but with access to advice when necessary
- Evidence of having built and maintained relationships in diverse communities
- Understanding of community engagement strategies and how to implement them
- Ability to work flexibly under own initiative and to tight deadlines
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
- Knowledge of student placement or work experience groups
- Understanding of local health and well-being priorities and community needs
