- Delivering 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs
- Supporting emotional regulation and implementing de-escalation strategies
- Acting as a mentor and consistent adult presence throughout the day
- Responding flexibly to changing needs and maintaining professionalism
- Promoting safety and wellbeing during lessons and off-site activities
- Upholding safeguarding procedures and reporting concerns appropriately
- Experience working with SEMH or SEN pupils in secondary settings
- Calm, confident, and quick-thinking in challenging situations
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a good sense of humour
