
Learning Support Assistant (SEN)

- Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement personalised learning plans for students with SEN
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to ensure students' academic, social, and emotional progress
- Adapting learning materials and resources to meet the specific needs of each student
- Monitoring and documenting students' progress, and communicating regularly with parents and caregivers
- Fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that celebrates diversity
- A genuine commitment to supporting students with special educational needs
- Relevant qualifications and experience in working with children with SEN (e.g. , Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities
