- Experience of working with children with special educational needs and disabilities, particulary visual impairment would be an advantage however training will be given to the right person;
- Good communication skills;
- Ability to work as part of a team with ability to also show initiative;
- Commitment to helping children learn and make good progress;
- Optimism, sense of humour and ability to solve problems;
- A willingness to learn;
- An excellent work ethic.
